Ayurveda for People Who Are Not Ill

Most guests arrive with nothing wrong. That is the intended use.

Ayurveda for People Who Are Not Ill

There is a persistent assumption that Ayurvedic treatment is for a complaint. Historically the opposite is closer: the tradition is largely preventative, and the classical texts are more interested in maintenance than in cure.

A rejuvenation programme assumes you are broadly well and would like to remain so. It is closer in intent to a fortnight of deliberate rest than to a course of medicine.

That said, be honest at the consultation. Sleep, digestion and stress are the three the physician will ask about, and vagueness there produces a vaguer programme.

The guests who benefit most are usually the ones who arrive tired rather than unwell, and who did not think that counted as a reason to come.
